The 1776 Commemorative Edition starts with a full-size, single-stack Government-model 1911 in 45 ACP. The frame uses 25 LPI checkering on the frontstrap and mainspring housing, while a plain black rear sight and gold bead front keep the sight picture traditional and uncluttered.
The commemorative identity comes from American flag rear cocking serrations and the left-slide engraving “250 Years of Freedom 1776-2026.” Hand-polished Micarta burlap grips complete the standard configuration.
The result is intentionally more restrained than a fully engraved Exhibition Series pistol. It is a functional Executive Series 1911 first, with details specific to the 250th anniversary.

The left side of the slide carries the “250 Years of Freedom 1776-2026” engraving that identifies the commemorative edition.
