Description
The Ed Brown two-piece 1911 magwell combines a Government-size mainspring housing with a removable magazine well. A precision-machined slot and drilled-and-tapped mounting hole secure the included magwell.
Remove the magwell without disassembling the pistol
The two-piece design allows the magwell to be installed or removed in seconds without disassembling the pistol. No grip modifications are required.
A larger opening for magazine changes
The magwell substantially enlarges the magazine opening, helping guide the magazine during reloads while retaining the profile and function of a traditional mainspring housing.
Choose the treatment and finish
Available configurations include smooth, serrated, 25 LPI checkering, Chainlink, Chainlink II, Chainlink III, Snakeskin, and Skip-Line treatments in blue or stainless finishes. Select an option above to see current availability.
Note: Mainspring housing internals are not included and may be purchased separately if needed.
