A 9mm interpretation of the Executive idea: a full-size stainless frame, shortened and thinned 4-inch slide, and familiar 1911 controls in a leaner all-steel pistol.

The EVO-E9 uses a full-size stainless single-stack frame, but it is not simply an Executive Commander chambered in 9mm. The slide is shortened to 4 inches and thinned to reduce weight, while the 7-top cut and dedicated front and rear serrations give the pistol its own profile.
The operating details were also selected around the format: an external extractor, bull barrel, flat-wire recoil spring system, easy-to-change front sight, and compact Tactical Edge U-notch rear sight.
Twenty-five LPI checkering and a one-piece blended magwell keep the grip treatment connected to the Executive Series. The result is a smaller, thinner 9mm that retains traditional 1911 controls and an all-steel feel.

Shortened, thinned slide
The 4-inch slide is narrowed to .860 inch and uses a distinctive 7-top cut, reducing mass while giving the EVO-E9 its lean profile.
Built around 9mm
An external extractor, bull barrel, and flat-wire recoil spring system are integrated into the format rather than added to a conventional full-size upper.
Full-size steel frame
The stainless single-stack frame, 25 LPI checkering, and blended magwell preserve the solid handling and familiar controls of an Ed Brown 1911.
