Know the restrictions before you order.
Magazine limits, barrel restrictions, approved-handgun rosters, and local requirements can affect what we are able to ship. Start with the guide below, and confirm firearm-transfer requirements with your receiving FFL before ordering.

Laws, regulations, rosters, and local ordinances can change without notice. The buyer is responsible for confirming that every item ordered may be lawfully purchased, received, possessed, and used in the buyer’s location.

These are the principal restrictions currently used when reviewing Ed Brown orders. A state or locality may impose additional restrictions not shown here.

“May be available” does not guarantee that a particular firearm or barrel may be shipped. The complete configuration and destination must still pass final review.
How restricted orders are handled.
We review the destination and complete product configuration before shipment. If the original order cannot be shipped as placed, our team will contact you.
01 / Magazines
Capacity-compliant magazines.
We will not ship a magazine that exceeds the capacity permitted by our shipping policy for the destination. When an appropriate compliant magazine is available, it may be substituted. We will contact you if no suitable substitution is available.
02 / Barrels
Compliant barrel configuration.
Where a threaded-barrel configuration cannot be shipped, an eligible firearm may be supplied with a non-threaded barrel when that substitution is available and approved before shipment.
03 / Final review
Every order is destination-specific.
Dealer requirements, handgun rosters, firearm features, and local rules may affect the complete order. An order is not cleared for shipment until the receiving FFL and Ed Brown’s final review are complete.
Confirm firearm orders with your receiving FFL.
Your receiving FFL is the best first source for the laws and transfer requirements that apply to a firearm order at your destination. Give the dealer the exact model, magazine capacity, and barrel configuration you intend to order. If the dealer identifies a restriction, contact us before placing the order so we can determine whether a compliant configuration is available.
