The design trusted by more top custom builders and serious shooters than any other, because it permanently ends the 1911’s most common malfunction: extraction failure. Machined from the highest quality heat-treated bar stock steel.
ED BROWN SLIDE STOP
The Ed Brown Slide Stop is CNC-machined from premium barstock for superior strength and long-term durability. Its precise fit enhances barrel lockup and reliability, ensuring consistent last-round lockback even under heavy use. Deep serrations offer positive traction, a built-in detent prevents unintended movement, and chamfered edges provide smooth, refined operation.
DEHORNED EDGES
The same skilled craftsmen that are finishing Ed Brown 1911's, are gently and tastefully dehorning all sharp edges for a pistol that is extremely comfortable to handle and shoot.
SERRATED FRONT STRAP
