Every Ed Brown firearm carries a written Limited Lifetime Warranty covering defects in original materials and workmanship, subject to the written warranty’s terms and exclusions.

The written Limited Lifetime Warranty covers defects in original materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the firearm.
If Ed Brown determines that a covered defect exists, the written warranty provides for repair or replacement without charge, using the same or comparable parts or firearm, at Ed Brown’s option.
Yes. The written warranty follows the firearm to subsequent lawful owners.
The Limited Lifetime Warranty states that it applies to the original retail purchaser of a new Ed Brown firearm purchased from Ed Brown or an authorized Ed Brown dealer, and to each subsequent lawful owner of that firearm.
If you purchased an Ed Brown firearm used, you may still make a warranty claim under the written warranty, subject to its terms and exclusions.
A lifetime warranty is not a promise against every kind of wear or damage.
The written warranty excludes defects or damage caused by:
- Abuse, misuse, accident, or careless handling
- Hand-loaded, low-quality, or other non-standard ammunition
- Barrel obstructions
- Improper care or maintenance
- Failure to follow the owner’s manual
- Normal wear and tear
- Rust or corrosion
- Unauthorized repair, adjustment, or alteration
The written warranty also excludes the firearm’s coating, springs, grips, electronic optics, tritium bulbs, and the white outlines around tritium bulbs.

A Return Authorization number and specific shipping instructions are required before an Ed Brown firearm is sent to the factory for warranty evaluation.

Contact Ed Brown or call 573-565-3261 and tell us you believe you have a warranty issue.

Have the firearm information ready.
Provide your name, physical address, phone number, email address, firearm serial number, approximate purchase date, seller, and a description of the claimed defect.

Wait for authorization and instructions.
Do not ship the firearm until Ed Brown has issued a Return Authorization number and provided specific shipping instructions.

Ship exactly as instructed.
Follow the provided carrier and packaging instructions. Never ship ammunition with the firearm or in the same package.
The written warranty requires freight to be prepaid by the owner.
The written warranty requires freight to Ed Brown to be prepaid by the owner. Our current Terms & Conditions add that this applies unless Ed Brown provides different written arrangements for a particular shipment.
For the current factory-return shipping option, see the Basic Service Package, which includes round-trip FedEx shipping and can be used for warranty evaluation. Work that Ed Brown determines is covered by the warranty is performed without charge.
