This five-piece kit brings together the primary 1911 ignition components in one matched package. Choose a blue or stainless Perfection hammer; the remaining components are common to both configurations.
Components included
- Perfection Hammer #896 or #897: Machined from bar-stock alloy or stainless steel and heat treated to Rc 52–54. The Commander-style spur is finely serrated, the sides are narrowed to reduce slide contact, and the hammer hooks are machined to .020–.022 inch.
- Perfection Sear #874: Precision EDM cut with finished engagement geometry and matched for use with the Perfection hammer.
- Perfection Disconnector #811-M: Machined from bar-stock steel with finished bearing surfaces.
- Sear Spring #822: Tempered spring with additional center-leg length for disconnector adjustment.
- Government Mainspring #816: 19-pound mainspring for Government-size 1911 frames.
Installation
