Description
This ambidextrous 1911 thumb safety is fully machined from bar-stock steel. A special hammer pin secures the right-side lever without requiring modification of the grips. The lever geometry is angled to support the thumb while reducing contact with the slide.
Choose the lever profile
- Match — .247 inch: The widest profile, intended for competition and shooters who use a high-thumb grip.
- Tactical — .167 inch: A medium-width profile for general-purpose use.
- Carry — .154 inch: The narrowest profile for reduced bulk during carry and concealment.
Choose the finish
Each lever profile is available in blue or stainless.
Installation
The special hammer pin is included. This safety requires gunsmith fitting and complete function and safety checks before the pistol is used.
